I think it's great but could use some more atmosphere. Maybe you could try putting some synths or SFX in it and see what happens!

This is the kind of stuff I wish fatpie would do more of.
Huh, never heard of fatpie. Thanks though!
Well, that was refreshing. Sounded different but still in that crispybatteryacid style y'know what I mean.
ah hah that’s what I like to hear my man, thanks!
Not bad. Sounds like it could use more instruments to spice things up but it stands well enough as it currently is.
I broke my plastic fork while listening to this...ANYWAYS
hey nice song you got there. Has me thinkin bout a few things. have you ever considered trying something super heavy and thrashy? Like uhh death metal or something idk. As for the song itself, The way you do drums is interesting to me but I suck at drums so I ain't saying much. the flute stood out for me in this song I liked that the most. Wasn't a fan of the bell but otherwise very solid song.
Thanks for the review dude. Hardcore shit/metal was never my thing, but it has some distinct characteristics that I like to include in some of my stuff, like an electric guitar or something. A lot of my work is inspired by a composer by the name of DM Dokuro, who also does something like that.
As for the drums, I play the them myself so it comes a bit easier to me. What did you find interesting about them? I'm curious now lol
That melody that happens at 0:47 (and through various other parts of the song) is so great I love that. I'm having trouble understanding how this song wasn't working at first cuz it sounds so interesting. I know this doesn't resemble Aphex Twin hardly at all but The grittyness of the beat in this song is actually why I love Aphex Twin so much and you put all the right stuff into this. My favorite from you thus far.
Thanks man this one's my favorite too
The fourth bar did a chromatic thing with the guitar and it was hugely inspired by my first song near the end, and to be fair the entire song sounded horrible until I added the pads which covered up the angry guitar sounds that became a textural thing
I don't know why but it makes me think of some sort of cutscene from a Mario game like I imagine a bunch of the characters doin sumthin er other at the castle and it's just nice and peaceful. Maybe it's the lead or the drums or something. Either way good vibes all around.
Thank you so much! It's meant to feel a bit nostalgic and party ish so I think what you imagine really fits haha
Thank you for listening to my music :D
You should come back to this when you can. It has a sort of charm to it and some interesting sounds. But was sort of repetitive towards the end and some sounds were too loud for me. That being said. I did enjoy this a bit.
Okay, I will try when I get power back. Also, this song was made as something to keep me busy during a hurricane, making it my first song made purely for fun. I had no plan, I did things as they came to me. Also, I can’t really add on that much to it. This is the most sounds I can have at once. Have a good day.
I actually think it's pretty alright. It's got a lot going on despite being rather short. Parts like what starts at 1:30 were really fun to hear. The only problem IMO was some things throughout the song were particularly loud.
It's like im being chased out of a location in a video game.
The vibraphone is probably my favorite part. Adds a good contrast.
I am learning how to make music. I started learning early 2024. I'm so new to making music I honestly don't know at all of what to expect, but I've been having so much fun these past few months.
